Reader, Did you know Facebook is taking away the option to save your live videos on the platform? Facebook officially announced it on February 19. Videos goneFrom now on, EVERY Facebook live will be forcibly deleted within 30 days. This means huge changes for Olive Tree Tutorials where our Facebook presence is concerned. I'm no longer going to rely on Facebook to serve you my evergreen content, like my videos about the crisis in modern education. Instead, I'll focus on consistently serving you great content through my podcast (subscribe so you don't miss an episode). My decisionBut Facebook's announcement also confirmed my decision: I'll probably never host another challenge on Facebook. Why, since free challenges like the Fresh Fire Facebook Challenge are short-term events and the videos will eventually be tucked away in a paid course? It's because my challenges don't just ask you to consume video content. They ask you to participate. When the option to keep live videos forever goes away, your participation goes away too. Every comment on the challenge videos will disappear when the videos are deleted by Facebook. I don't want the evidence of your learning to disappear. So I'm looking into other platforms where I can run challenges on my terms. Nevertheless, the videos from the Fresh Fire Facebook Challenge are still up for a few more days--until the end of February (the 30-day limit). Before it's goneThat's why I'm giving you a second chance to master the challenge. This FREE three-day challenge (runs February 26, 27, and 28) will launch you as an education leader in the global movement to restore the biblical foundations of education. š„š„ š„ Start with God's purpose for education š„ Learn why it's essential to teach the whole person š„ Discover three ways you bear God's image to the world Remember: you can't master the challenge just by watching the videos. You have to download your Fresh Fire Challenge Journal and follow the instructions for commenting on the videos. Also - Iām offering a special gift at the end for those who complete all three days of the challenge. One more thingReader, I have TWO incredible multi-day events coming up for you in March 2025. One will be announced this Friday, at the conclusion of the Fresh Fire Facebook Challenge. As for the other...well, I'll let the cat out of the bag tonight. š I'm an expert speaker at the Music & Art Homeschool Summit in March, and you're invited! You can get in for free if you plan to watch the expert sessions while the summit is live, March 12-14. Sharon P.S. I think you'll get much more out of these two events in March if you've already mastered the concepts we cover in the February Fresh Fire Challenge, so do sign up. ā ā Sharon Barrett Owner and Lead Instructor, Olive Tree Tutorialsā Great Books tutorials rooted in a Whole Bible worldview sharon@olivetreetutorials.com |
